Now, from my perspective, let’s compare how dangerous mountain biking is compared to other sports like Skiing, Rock Climbing, or simple road cycling.
Most people have asked me, Is mountain biking more dangerous than skiing…
So, If we generally compare mountain biking with skiing, then yes, mountain biking is more dangerous because it involves more technical challenges than skiing.
On the other hand, most people do not neglect to wear proper clothes, shoes, helmets, etc., during skiing, even if they fall, so it doesn’t cause such serious injury as mountain biking.
While many people neglect to wear proper gear for mountain biking, I’ve seen that most people wear helmets, and some don’t even wear them.
But many bikers do not wear other things, especially intermediate bikers; they don’t wear gloves, knee or elbow pads, etc.
Now, because most people neglect proper gear, biking includes more technical challenges, and it’s more dangerous than skiing.
My Personal Experience & Opinion Regarding Mountain Bike Dangerous

Suppose that mountain biking is dangerous. Then ask yourself, which sports isn’t not dangerous?
Can you think about that for a second?
I believe everything is dangerous.
But Why?
Just look at the football. Does it include a risk or not? For many people, it doesn’t.
But from my perspective, yes, it does include some risk.
There are risks when you are not wearing a shin guard and an opposing footballer or the defender is trying to take the ball from you.
If he hits your legs, then you will get injured, maybe bruises or serious (depends how hard you got hit.
Or if you did not properly warm up before playing football, chances are high that your body will be cramped.
Or if you are a goalkeeper in a football match, you are not wearing gloves. So, chances are high that your hand might be fractured if the striker hits the ball harder.
And you try to stop it without gloves and without proper techniques.
So, these same things apply to mountain biking, too. When you do not follow the right techniques, when you do not wear proper gloves, and when you try to do something that you can’t handle, then, of course, it will be dangerous.
Everything will be dangerous. I just gave you the example of football, but it is the same with everything.
Let’s say cricket; if you are not wearing a helmet, thigh guard, elbow pad, etc., the chances are high that the bowler will hit you, especially if it is the faster one.
