Hi, I’m Muhammad Abraham, founder and lead writer at Mountain Bike Insider.
I started mountain biking when I was 10 years old, and over 15 years later, I’m still obsessed with everything the sport has to offer.
From technical singletrack to long endurance rides, MTB has been a constant part of my life. It is not just a hobby for me, it shaped how I think, how I push through challenges, and how I approach every new skill.
I built Mountain Bike Insider in 2024 with one clear goal: to give riders honest, experience-based advice they can actually use on the trail.
Why I Started MBI
When I was learning to ride, I spent hours searching online for reliable MTB content.
Most of what I found was either too technical, too generic, or written by people who had clearly never touched a mountain bike. I wanted to change that.
Mountain Bike Insider exists to fill that gap.
Every article is written from real riding experience, backed by research, and focused on giving you genuinely useful information, whether you are choosing your first hardtail or upgrading your full-suspension setup.
My Riding Background
I have ridden hardtails and full-suspension bikes across a wide range of terrain. Over the years I have logged hundreds of trail hours and personally tested dozens of components, tools, and accessories.
When I recommend a product or technique, it is based on actual use, not just specs on a page.
I have been a professional writer since 2017, which means I combine real-world MTB knowledge with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely. You will never find fluff here.

Join the Community
Mountain biking is better when riders share knowledge. I run an active mountain biking community on Facebook where riders share trail finds, gear questions, and ride reports.
I also post regularly on Threads with short-form MTB tips and updates.
Come ride with us. The more we share, the better we all get.
